Firefighters respond to car fire on I-95 southbound in Northeast Philadelphia
A car fire closed a stretch of I-95 in Philadelphia’s Tacony neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
SkyForce10 was over the badly burnt vehicle shortly before 1 p.m. The fire closed I-95 southbound between exits 32 and 27. Lanes later reopened around 1:20 p.m. though drivers in the area should still expect delays.
Officials have not revealed the cause of the fire or if anyone was injured.
