Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries in possible Fort Lauderdale hit-and-run
A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries when they were hit by a driver that may have fled the scene in Fort Lauderdale.
It happened at around 1:28 a.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of East Sunrise Boulevard.
Police said they responded there to a “possible hit and run traffic crash,” and the pedestrian was rushed to the hospital.
The vehicle involved was found a short distance away and was unoccupied, police said .
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
