Atlantic City man arrested in shooting death of 22-year-old woman
A man was arrested in connection with the shooting death of a woman in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Monday, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
On Thursday, April 30, Franklin J. Felipe De La Paz, 26, was arrested in Pleasantville and accused of multiple charges in connection with the shooting death of 22-year-old Jaylou Marlenne Pineda Lopez, prosecutors said.
According to officials, the deadly shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, inside an apartment on the 2202 block of Hamilton Avenue.
Felipe De La Paz was charged with aggravated manslaughter and possession of a large-capacity ammunition magazine, according to prosecutors.
The investigation is ongoing.
