The Wilmington Flower Market is back! Here's what you need to know

The Wilmington Flower Market is back with dozens of retail vendors, rides, live music, great food and of course, lots of flowers and plants!

The popular Delaware event returned on Thursday, May 7, and will be up and running until Saturday, May 9, at Rockford Park in Wilmington.

The event is operated entirely by volunteers. Proceeds raised from the event will be distributed among dozens of children’s charities.

Delaware families said they never miss the Flower Market when it rolls around every Mother’s Day weekend.

“In our retirement we come down to our grandchildren spend a lot of time down here, but we always make sure we are here for flower market, that’s no joke,” Joe Guarino, who never misses the Flower Market, told NBC10.

There is no admission fee. Parking is $10 per car per day, and it is cash only.

Hours

Thursday, May 7: From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Friday, May 8: From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturday, May 9: From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

People are welcome to bring their dogs, as long as they are on a leash and owners clean up after them.
