Pedestrian struck, pulled from under SEPTA bus in South Philly, officials say
A man was hospitalized on Friday morning, officials say, after he was pulled from under a SEPTA bus after being stuck while lying in a South Philly roadway.
According to SEPTA officials, the incident happened just after 5 a.m. on Friday when a man, who was lying in the roadway near the intersection of 27th Street at Snyder Avenue, was struck by a SEPTA bus.
The man’s face was injured after it was struck by the undercarriage of the SEPTA bus, officials said.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital though, officials did not immediately provide further information on his condition or the severity of his injuries.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing, officials said.
