Motorcyclist dies in Northeast Philadelphia crash
A man riding a motorcycle was killed in a crash early Friday morning in the city’s Holmesburg neighborhood, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
Police said the crash happened around 6:45 a.m. on the 4300 block of Cottman Avenue.
First responders transported the motorcyclist to the Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, and was declared dead around 7:10 a.m.
The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released.
As of 9 a.m., police were still on the scene working to determine the cause of the crash.
No further details regarding other vehicles involved or potential charges were immediately available.
