Iron Hill Brewery reopening Center City Philadelphia location after bankruptcy

Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant is back in business after declaring bankruptcy last year.

In a social media post, the organization shared that the Center City Philadelphia location will reopen Sunday, April 19 at noon.

“We hope you will join us as we reestablish the brand you have loved for almost 30 years. We are excited to introduce you to a new chapter, new menu items and a new beer called Unfinished Business,” the organization wrote. https://www.facebook.com/IronHillBrewery/posts/pfbid026hM2JzayZiWkLV9V9aPDS8W27tFBES9QqDBb7WshLqhXBLVqs9u7Fqa7Li4Mkovrl

According to the Philadelphia Business Journal, the Center City location will reopen under new management.

In the fall of 2025, the Delaware-founded company filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy just weeks after abruptly closing all of its locations after nearly 30 years in business.

The company didn’t provide a reason for the closures, but several locations had gone out of business over time, citing changing market conditions.

Iron Hill Brewery opened its first location on East Main Street in Newark, Delaware, in 1996 and had expanded across Pennsylvania, Delaware, Georgia, New Jersey, and South Carolina.
