Homestead double shooting suspect arrested, police say
A suspect accused of a shooting in Homestead that sent two people to the hospital was arrested on Saturday, police said.
Samantha Renee Morales, 34, is facing several charges, including aggravated battery with a firearm, aggravated assault with a firearm and use of a firearm while impaired by alcohol.
According to Homestead Police, officers arrived at the 2400 block of Northeast 10th Court after receiving reports of a shooting.
At the scene, they found two people who had been shot, and they were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police said Morales was found at the scene and was arrested after an investigation into the shooting was finished.
