Deputy hurt while on duty in motorcycle crash in Miami Gardens, says MDSO
A Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) deputy was hospitalized Saturday after a vehicle struck the motorcycle he was operating in Miami Gardens.
Authorities said the on-duty deputy was riding in the area of Northwest 12th Avenue and Northwest 196th Street around 12:27 p.m. when the crash occurred.
“The deputy sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue in stable condition,” MDSO said.
No information was released about the other vehicle.
