4-year-old falls from third floor window at North Philly apartment, police say
A child is recovering in the hospital after falling out of an apartment window on Tuesday evening, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
Officials said that officers were called to a home on the 2200 block of North 7th Street in North Philadelphia around 6:38 p.m. on April 28 after it was reported that someone fell out of a window.
According to investigators, a four-year-old boy fell from a third floor apartment window and was hurt.
The boy was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in stable condition, police said.
When NBC10 crews went to the scene, they found a police car parked outside of the building with yellow police tape blocking the sidewalk.
The Philadelphia Police Department’s Special Victims Unit is investigating.
