Woman, 22, killed after vehicle collides with county bus in Miami Gardens, police say
A woman was killed in Miami Gardens on Thursday after her vehicle collide into a Miami-Dade County bus, police said.
According to Miami Gardens Police, the woman was heading eastbound on Northwest 199th Street when she ran a red light and crashed into the bus that was turning left onto Northwest Seventh Avenue.
Following the crash, the 22-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Her identity was not released.
Police said one person who was on the bus was taken to the hospital after complaining about pains.
An investigation into the crash remains active.
