Pa. college tennis coach, athletic director and realtor faces child porn charges
A Pennsylvania real estate agent, college athletic director and former college tennis player faces child pornography charges.
Albert Stroble, 48, of Lower Providence Township, is charged with 150 felony counts of possessing child sexual abuse material and criminal use of a communication facility.
The investigation began on Jan. 12, 2026, when the Montgomery County Detective Bureau and Lower Providence Township Police received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The tip was in regards to a Dropbox account that appeared to have uploaded child pornography videos.
Investigators determined the videos showed child sexual abuse material involving underage girls. One of the videos shows a girl between the ages of 8 and 10, according to officials.
Investigators served search warrants on Google, Verizon and Dropbox and determined the IP address was registered to Albert Stroble at his home in Lower Providence Township, officials said. Investigators obtained a search warrant for the home and seized electronic devices, including a laptop that Stroble used to upload images into Dropbox, officials said.
Stroble was arrested and later arraigned on April 14, 2026. His bail was set at 10% of $300,000 with an additional condition of no unsupervised contact with children.
Stroble posted bail on April 15 and was later released. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 28, 2026.
Stroble was an assistant director of athletics and coach of the men’s and women’s tennis teams at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. He was most recently the East Region Chair for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Women’s Ranking Committee and the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Coaches Chair for men’s and women’s tennis.
“Everybody is presumed innocent,” Stroble’s lawyer, Arthur Donato Jr., told NBC10. “We’re taking a look at things and doing our own independent review. Beyond that, it would be inappropriate to comment at this time.”
We will include a response from Chestnut Hill College once we receive one.
