Man stabbed on Red Line platform in River North
A 37-year-old man was stabbed with a sharp object while at a Red Line subway station in River North late Thursday.
The victim was standing on the platform, 521 N. State St., when an man he doesn't know approached, displayed a sharp object and attacked him shortly before midnight, police said.
The man, who suffered a puncture wound to the left tricep, was taken in fair condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said.
It wasn't clear if the attacker was arrested. Area 3 detectives are investigating.
