Man charged with firing gun on empty CTA bus outside Midway Airport
A Kankakee man was charged with firing a gun on an empty bus Monday afternoon outside Midway Airport.
David Finch, 33, was charged with reckless discharge of a weapon, criminal damage to government property and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, Chicago police said.
Around 5:40 p.m. Monday, Finch was on bus No. 8026 at 4612 W. 59th St. when he opened fire, damaging the bus and leaving bullet holes, police said.
He was arrested and a gun was recovered at the scene, officials said.
Finch appeared in court Tuesday.
