Effort to hold Uber legally responsible for sexual assaults by drivers heads to ballot
A coalition of attorneys announced Thursday they've gathered enough signatures to ask voters to support a law, billed as the first of its kind, that would make rideshare companies legally responsible for sexual assaults that occur inside their vehicles.
