Burlington County police save woman's life on side of road, bodycam video shows

An officer’s first day on the job turned into a life-saving mission after a woman suffered a heart attack while driving in Washington Township in Burlington County, the police department there said on social media.

The incredible rescue occurred after officer responded to a call of a driver hitting a telephone pole on Greentree Road in front of All American Assisted Living.

There, they found a woman, who has been identified as Mrs. Friedrich, unconscious in her car. When officers broke through windows to get her out, she was not breathing and had no pulse.

However, Officer Dante Moore, who was on his first day of solo patrol, performed CPR while other officers assisted and provided AED shocks.

Their efforts were able to bring the woman back to life.

Body camera video released Wednesday showed the gripping rescue, including Moore doing CPR.

After receiving more care at the hospital, the woman is expected to fully recover.

And, to thank the officers who saved her life, she and her family went to Washington Township Police Headquarters to say thank you with Chick-fil-A!
