3 people hospitalized after shooting in NW Miami-Dade neighborhood
Three people were hospitalized after a shooting in a northwest Miami-Dade neighborhood on Thursday, officials said.
The shooting was reported near the 2100 block of Northwest 75th Street.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said crews responded to the scene and brought three adults to a local hospital as trauma alerts.
Aerial footage from Chopper 6 showed a large law enforcement presence in the neighborhood as authorities investigated the shooting.
Nearby Lillie C. Evans Elementary School was placed on lockdown as a precaution, Miami-Dade County Public Schools officials said. The lockdown was later lifted.
No other details were immediately known.
