17-year-old dies after shooting in Homestead, authorities say
A 17-year-old died after he was shot Friday in Homestead, authorities said.
Miami-Dade Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call at around 6 p.m. to a person who was shot in the area of Southwest 282nd Street and 125th Avenue.
Deputies found a teen who was shot, and who later died at the hospital, officials said.
There was no information on what led up to the shooting.
Deputies detained two people after pulling over a car and recovered a gun at the scene, officials said.
