Shooter accused in Port St. Lucie fatal armed robbery arrested, police say
A man accused of shooting two people during an armed robbery in Port St. Lucie over the weekend was arrested on Tuesday, police said.
Norrien Casminski, 18, was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals and was wanted for attempted second-degree murder, robbery with a firearm, and grand theft.
According to Port St. Lucie Police, on Saturday, officers arrived at the 1600 block of Northwest St. Lucie West Boulevard after receiving reports of a shooting.
Police said that there was a pre-arranged meeting between Casminski and two associates, Sharlett Key and Martravious Blue, and the two victims , who were from Georgia.
The meeting then escalated into an armed robbery, and the two victims were shot.

At the scene, officers found the two 19-year-old victims, Antoine Myers and Jermonti Johnson, suffering from gunshot wounds, and they were taken to the hospital.
Myers was shot in the head and died on Monday, while Johnson was shot in the abdomen and is expected to be OK.
During their investigation, detectives were able to take Key and Blue into custody first.
During their court appearance on Monday, the judge set Key’s bond to $75,000, while Blue was given a $1.3 million bond.
Casminski is expected to face upgraded charges in the shooting.
