Man fatally shot in West Lawn
A man was shot and killed early Saturday in West Lawn.
The man, 19, was in the 4000 block of West 69th Street around 2 a.m. when someone fired shots, striking him multiple times in the lower back, Chicago police said.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead, police said. His name hasn’t been released.
Police said the victim may have been traveling in a vehicle when the shooting happened.
No arrests were reported.
