Florida missing child alert issued for 14-year-old last seen Homestead in March
A missing child alert was issued Monday for a 14-year-old girl who was last seen in Homestead in March, officials said.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued the alert for Yarilis Mendez-Carrillo, who was last seen March 11 in the area of the 300th block of Southwest 12th Avenue.

Yarilis Mendez-Carrillo is described as 4-foot-7, 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue shorts. She also has a large circular scar on her upper right thigh.Â
